About the Band

Black & White Motion picture is a Denver-based rock band formed in 2018.Rooted in alternative, post-punk, and indie rock, BWMP blends wistful melodies, over-driven guitars, and reverb-drenched textures into something raw and emotionally resonant. Their first, self-titled album, was released in 2020, and introduced the band’s iconic sound and nostalgic brand. With notable songs such as ‘Rx’ and ‘Retro Heartbreak’, the band established its place in the Denver music scene. They followed this with a series of iconic music videos: ‘Mild-Life’ (2022), ‘Strange’ (2022),and ‘Silhouette’ (2023). In 2025, the band released its second album, Something’s Missing, featuring ‘Old New York’.
